The Coterie Theater: Accessibility Resources

At The Coterie, we believe everyone deserves a chance to experience the magic of live theatre. Performances and classes are open to young people and their families of all abilities. We are committed to removing obstacles and opening up new opportunities for people with disabilities. The Coterie is joyfully and boldly committed to welcoming performers and audiences of all types regardless of race, gender, age, or disabilities.

Patrons who would benefit from comforting sensory resources are invited to check out a complimentary Sensory Kit from our Box Office. Generously provided by Variety Children’s Charity of Greater Kansas City each kit contains:

• Noise-reducing headphones
• Weighted lap pad
• Light-reducing polarized sunglasses
• Handheld fidget toys, including a bubble popper and a hot/cold pack
