Usman Latif, MD, MBA, University of Kansas Medical Center

Dr. Usman Latif is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Medicine at The University of Kansas Medical Center and a Board-certified Anesthesiologist at The University of Kansas Health System.
Dr. Latif received his medical degree from the University of Kansas and then went on to complete his anesthesiology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Latif also completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at Harvard/Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Before training in Anesthesiology, Dr. Latif completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University Medical Center and served as faculty at Yale University School of Medicine and Yale-New Haven Hospital. During this time, he earned an MBA and served as a Sub-Investigator at the Pfizer Clinical Research Unit. While completing his pain fellowship, Dr. Latif was awarded a scholarship to earn a certificate in Value-Based Healthcare at Harvard Business School.
