Central Plains Area Agency on Aging

For over 40 years Central Plains Area Agency on Aging (CPAAA) has helped guide older adults, caregivers and persons with disabilities providing information, assistance and support. Our friendly staff see the big picture and are here to help you understand your options and find resources available through CPAAA and our community partners. CPAAA serves older individuals, family caregivers, adults with disabilities and professionals in Butler, Harvey and Sedgwick Counties.

The Kansas Respite for Alzheimer’s & Dementia Program (K-RAD) is a resource for family caregivers with limited access to respite care and/or other supports through current systems. The purpose is to provide relief to unpaid caregivers of individuals with a probable diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia.
