Brown County Developmental Services, Inc. (CDDO)

The BCDS CDDO, a division of Brown County Developmental Services, Inc., is designated by two counties as the point of access for entry into Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services. As a CDDO, we are responsible for working with you to arrange for needed community services if you qualify as having a developmental disability.

As a provision in the Developmental Disability Reform Act (DDRA) of the 1995 Kansas Legislative session, it allows these functions to be subcontracted to another CDDO. In Brown and Doniphan counties, you will receive support in accessing services from the Disability Planning Organization of Kansas, Inc
